CANADA!実家基準でもいいですか?だったら東京ディズニーリゾートとか……(実家が埼玉県のくろ)夢の世界 (ふるっしー)I Could Communicate Like This! 接客をするわけではないのでお客さんと話すことは少なかったですが、他の労働者に仕事を教えてもらったり、作業が正しいかを確認するためには会話が不可欠です。作業しながら日本の昔話をしたり、昼休憩にお互いの家族について会話したりすることもありました。とはいえ、会話をしている時間は少なかったです。もっと会話がしたい!という人は旅の目的をアルバイトやワーキングホリデーにする必要があるかもしれません。私が体験中によく使った言葉をランキングにしてみました(Thank you・Okayなど、当たり前の言葉は除いてあります)。 I have no time to communicate with customers, but I talk a lot with other labors. We have to communicate each other because they taught us how to do our work and we must make sure the way we do work. We talk about Japanese old tales and about my family. Although, I feel we have little time to communicate with other labor during my working time. So if you want to use English more during your work time, you should try to take a working holiday! I made a ranking of the sentences that I often used in the bakery (I exclude commonplace words such as "Thank you" and "Okay"). Can I do something? やることが終わっても ボーっとしているのでは、せっかくの体験がもったいない!常に何かをしよう、手伝おうという心構えを見せることを大切にしていました。労働者の皆さんにもとっても喜んでもらえました。 I think it is waste of time if you do noting when you finished your asked work. Workers were very glad when they found our motivation. Like this? なにしろ初めての仕事です し、日本と様式が全然違います。逐一確認を忘れないようにしていました。それでもミスは出てきますが、優しく教えていただけたので心強かったです(但し、話すスピードはめちゃくちゃ速かったです。笑)。 There were a lot of difference at my work because there were CANADA. But, I think their speaking way is still too fast for me… Can I pack all of them? 私の働いたベーカリーで は、バラ売りにして売っているコーナーと、袋で売っているコーナーがわかれていました。全てを袋詰めしてしまうとバラ売りするためのパンが無くなってしまうため、補充する分を取っておくべきか確認してから袋詰めする必要があったのです。一緒に働く上で細かい確認が重要であることは、海を越えても一緒でした。 In Bun’s Master, some breads are sold separately and other breads are sold as sets, so we don’t have to pack all of breads. When we work together with other people, we sometimes must check our work carefully. 123 バンクーバーのダウンタウンも観光しました。東京のような大都会でありながら、空間が広々としていて開放的な気分になりました。中には日本未上陸のブランドも店舗を構えていたりするほど飲食店やお土産屋も充実して、大概のものが揃います。しかし、観光地ということもあり値段は非常に高いです。メープルシロップなど比較的高価なお土産はバンクーバー郊外のスーパーで買うと安く済ませられます。 I went downtown in Vancouver so do sightseeing. Vancouver has a big road and parks, so I felt cozier in this city than I in Tokyo. Some shops doesn't exist in Japan, so I was very excited! Vancouver is so big city that I can buy anything, but the prices are very expensive because it is one of a famous sightseeing spot. When you want to buy some expensive souvenir (like a maple syrup), I recommend you buy it in a suburb.↓ トーテムポール。 スタンレーパークという巨大な臨海公園にあった。
